With a career spanning nearly two decades as a make-up artist, Rachel starts every make-up with a fresh eye and believes that it is essential to remember that every face is unique. Her philosophy is to let the face be your guide, so that something new is created every time.
Rachel’s background is based in the creative arts and she takes this with her as she approaches every face, moving with ease from simple clean looks, to her signature colourful and strong creative style. Rachel is passionate about her craft and industry. Her success comes from a strong technical know-how, attention to detail and commitment to creating beautiful work on every single job. No matter whose face she is working with, Rachel is aware of the magic that can be created and the power behind making someone look and feel beautiful. Most importantly, Rachel simply loves her work.
Her hard work and talent was recognised in 2011, 2012 and 2013, when she was awarded the title Australian Make-Up Artist of the Year. Then again in 2014 with a listing on the Australian Beauty Industry Awards Honour Roll.
Currently based in Sydney Australia and represented by Reload Agency, Rachel spends her time working with some of the most talented, prolific creative teams in the country and is well known for her professionalism as well as an easy-going attitude. Her body of work includes beauty and fashion editorials, fashion advertising, commercials and celebrity; boasting an impressive list of local and international clients.
When she's not transforming faces, she is frequently educating other make-up artists, as well as contributing to and being interviewed by many of Australia’s most popular publications. She is frequently invited to appear as a guest speaker at industry events to demonstrate her skill on stage and give expert advice to the consumer as well as industry professionals.
