Tommy Clarke’s approach to capturing moments has a beautiful, raw and honest feel towards it. Born in England on a farm, he first picked up a camera after a sports injury to maintain his involvement in the team, Tommy’s love and talent for photography quickly emerged and escalated.
Tommy’s inquisitive nature, passion to travel and his fresh and cultured personality is at the centre of his style. Renowned for his location shots that boast energy, colour and desirability, Tommy’s recent aerial photography is gaining some real attention, taking him from Australia to San Francisco, Mexico, the Canary Islands and Utah.
Tommy has worked with a range of clients, one of his favourites being Harpers Bazaar UK, who gave him the freedom to use his film cameras to shoot various celebrities. His unique artistic approach has gained him recognition, coming second in the young fashion photographer of the year award in 2008 and he was also shortlisted for fashion photographer of the year in the Sony Photography Awards in 2009. He loves working alongside charities, where his most memorable experience was shooting for the British Heart Foundation.
